Give Local. Change Lives. A Holiday Message from Pocono Mountains United Way

As the holiday season fills our homes with light and laughter, it is also a time to remember what makes the Poconos such a special place. It is our neighbors who care for one another.

Right now, many local families are facing tough times. Rising costs for food, housing, and childcare make it hard for some to make ends meet. At Pocono Mountains United Way, we work every day to make sure no one in our community is left behind. With your help, we can make the holidays brighter and bring hope into the new year.

When you give to United Way, your dollars stay right here in our community. They help local children get ready for school, support families who are looking for safe housing, and connect people to mental health resources and programs that promote financial stability. Every gift, no matter the size, helps a neighbor in need.

Your gift can also be a smart choice for your finances. If you have had a good year with your investments, consider donating appreciated stock. It is an easy and tax-wise way to make a big impact while supporting the causes you care about most. To learn more about giving stock, reach out to me directly at Michael@PoconoUnitedWay.org.

At Pocono Mountains United Way, we believe a strong community begins with caring people. When we come together, we can make sure children have a safe place to learn, families have the support they need, and everyone has the chance to build a better life.

This holiday season, I invite you to join us in giving back. Visit www.PoconoUnitedWay.org/donate to make your year-end gift today. Whether you give a little or a lot, your generosity will change lives right here in Monroe County and across the Poconos. Donations can also be mailed to: Pocono Mountains United Way 301 McConnell Street Stroudsburg, PA 18360.

Together, we can create a season of hope, care, and community. Thank you for being part of the change and for helping to build a brighter future for everyone who calls the Poconos home.

With gratitude,

Michael Tukeva
