Don Hannig has been a pillar of the Pocono community for over three decades, combining his professional expertise with a deep commitment to volunteer service. As Vice President of Spread Eagle Development Corp. and President/Broker of Spread Eagle Realty, Inc., Don has led successful residential and commercial real estate ventures while supporting local development. His leadership extends to his ownership of SER Commercial Real Estate and Hannig Development, LLC, where he plays a key role in shaping the region’s growth.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Don has dedicated 32 years to volunteering with Pocono Mountains United Way (PMUW), including 25 years of service on its Board of Directors. His tenure includes serving as Board President in 2003 and leading multiple fundraising campaigns, notably raising over $1.15 million through the “House that Caring Built” initiative. For his efforts, Don was honored with the PMUW Clifford Gillam “Volunteer of the Year” Award in 2000.

Beyond PMUW, Don has been an active member of the Rotary Club of the Stroudsburgs for 31 years, serving as President twice and receiving the prestigious Rotarian of the Year award. His contributions span across numerous community organizations, including coaching local youth sports and supporting fundraising efforts for organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters and Easter Seals.

Don’s lifelong commitment to service reflects his passion for building a stronger community, making him a trusted leader and valued volunteer. He resides in Paradise Township with his wife, Christine, and their two sons, Dylan and Andrew.
