United Way of Monroe County’s Day of Caring gathers local companies and organizations, families and friends, to make a difference in our community.  Day of Caring centers around hands-on projects that invite volunteers to spend the day assisting the needs of local non-profit organizations. United Way of Monroe County has organized thousands of volunteers since the Day of Caring’s inception 20 years ago in 1997.

United Way of Monroe County will be kicking off its 2017 Day of Caring together with our 2017 Campaign Kickoff at Barley Creek Brewing Company at 8am on Thursday, September 14^th, 2017. Light breakfast will be provided for all Day of Caring volunteers and for those joining us to launch our 2017 campaign to raise funds to address the most critical challenges facing our community.
