April 2nd: Film Screening and Panel Discussion of God Knows Where I Am

What: Pocono Mountains United Way, in partnership with WVIA and ESU, and with support from St. Luke’s Monroe Campus, invite the community to the film screening of God Knows Where I Am. The film and panel discussion raise questions of social justice and challenges the audience to think about how our community responds to mental illness and homelessness. Community members and professionals are encouraged to attend and interact with the film and panelists. Panelists will include:

  • Najma Khanani, MD, Psychiatrist/Medical Director of Partial Hospital Program St. Luke’s University Health Network
  • Leslie A. Perryman, LSW, CPRP , Director, RHD Crossroads Community Services/Street2Feet Outreach Center
  • Tina Clymer MS, LPC, Administrator, Carbon-Monroe-Pike Mental Health Developmental Services
  • Helen Kelly, MPA, Housing Coordinator, Wayne County Human Services

The event is free to attend, but we ask you to RSVP so we get a head count.

On April 1st, 2019, United Way of Monroe County and Pocono Alliance are formally merging to become the Pocono Mountains United Way, in an effort to better assist individuals and families in need in Monroe County through increased collaboration, efficiency and impact. This important film screening will mark the merged organization’s first major event in the community.
