This  pin costs $60 and is the perfect jewelry gift for women in our community that are both fashion-savvy and socially-minded.

100% of proceeds support Women United

All proceeds from the sale of the Liztech  pins go to support the projects* implemented by this new network of dynamic and diverse women working together to make Monroe County a stronger community through philanthropy, advocacy, and volunteerism. The group’s current focus is on supporting single-parent families headed by women**. With the median income of single mothers in Monroe County at only $25,500, making ends meet to provide for their families is a daily struggle. This presents an incredible need in our community.

We want you to get involved with Women United.

Anyone who signs up for membership by the end of the year also has the opportunity to purchase the  pin for a discounted price of $40 (saving $20). For only $140, you can join  and literally show your support of its mission.

Annual membership dues for  are $100, with membership including opportunities for networking and volunteer experiences, preferred pricing for events, and your support of the  mission and single mothers in our community.

* is currently working on a Valentine’s Shoe Box Project, where donated shoeboxes filled with toiletries and treats will go to single mothers for Valentine’s Day; since mothers often put themselves last,  is helping ensure that single mom’s struggling in our community recognize that they matter and are not forgotten.

**United Way serves as a fiduciary agent for , helping to administer and financially account for projects implemented by  and its membership. Goals are set together to create opportunities for programs, fundraising, networking, and volunteerism, and to connect to national and local best practices to help advance the mission and work of  and United Way; improving the lives of those in need in Monroe County.
