Welcome New Development Staff

May 18, 2026

Pocono Mountains United Way welcomed two new team members in April, Nichele Brown and Chris Kunzmann, who will play a key role on the Development team.

Nichele Brown

Nichele Brown, a native New Yorker, has resided in Monroe County for the last 22 years. She previously spent the last 15 years working for Mars Wrigley, where she had the opportunity to travel and connect with associates from around the world.

Nichele is a proud mother of five from a blended family, and a grandmother to four amazing grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, attending comedy shows/concerts, hiking, and of course, spending time with family.

After serving on several nonprofit boards throughout the county, Nichele developed an interest in helping others more directly, which lead her to PMUW. She’s excited for the chance to connect with people, build relationships with partners/donors, and help bring in funding that supports local programs and families in need.

You can connect with Nichele by email, nichele@poconounitedway.org, or by giving her a call at (570) 243-6682.

Chris Kunzmann

Chris Kunzmann, originally from Washington, NJ, currently resides in Bethlehem, PA. Before joining PMUW, Chris worked with ArtsQuest in Bethlehem for over two years. Prior to that, he spent several years in the sports industry, working with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Rail Riders baseball team and the Bridgeport Islanders hockey team — a dream job for any sports fan.

Chris is the youngest of three siblings and is a proud uncle to two young nephews. In his free time, he enjoys working out, running, going to the beach, attending sporting events, playing basketball, and spending time with family. He is also an avid sports fan whose favorite teams include the Mets, Giants, Knicks, and Penn State football.

Chris chose to work at Pocono Mountains United Way because he wanted to continue doing meaningful work for an organization that listens to and supports the needs of the community while building strong relationships throughout the area to help those in need.

You can reach Chris by email, chris@poconounitedway.org, or by giving him a call at (570) 243-6689.

Please join us in welcoming Nichele and Chris to the PMUW team!
