Stroudsburg, PA. Pocono Mountains United Way is kicking off summer with a free family friendly community event at ShawneeCraft Brewing Company in Shawnee on the Delaware on Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 4 pm –7 pm. Event entertainment will be provided by Michael Lloret and will feature face painting by Fun and Fancy Faces, neapolitan wood fire pizza and lawn games. The event will also feature a specialty craft beer in honor of Pocono Mountains United Way’s 80^th anniversary.

There is no cost to attend the summer social and meal options are available through ShawneeCraft brewery and pizzeria. Registration is recommended for a chance to win door prizes. “Summer is about gathering, and this event is a great way for community members to connect and celebrate the 80 years of service to Monroe County. Events like the Summer Social provide United Way opportunities to raise funds to continue to serve and meet community needs. We would not be celebrating this milestone without the support of the Poconos community,” said Michael Tukeva, President and CEO of Pocono Mountains United Way.

Michael Albert, COO of ShawneeCraft Brewing Company said, “We are thrilled to be supporting United Way through this event and our special beer release”. ShawneeCraft Brewing Company will be donating 25% of all sales made during the event to Pocono Mountains United Way, as well as 80 cents from every pint sold of their limited release. “Cheers to 80 years”, brewed specially for United Way’s 80^th anniversary, and launching at the Summer Social on June 26^th.
