2016 Campaign Award Winners

Sanofi Pasteur shines as United Way of Monroe County recognizes outstanding support for last year’s annual campaign!

Every year, United Way of Monroe County recognizes the exceptional support from outstanding individuals, organizations and corporations that have helped to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to help those in need in our community. Last year, United Way assisted over 44,000 individuals in Monroe County because of the generous support from this community. United Way of Monroe County, its Board of Directors, staff and volunteers thank this community for coming together to build partnerships that improve lives in Monroe County.

Our 2016 awardees include:
Campaign Chair Award, recognizing outstanding service and achievement in the campaign and commitment to Live United: Sanofi Pasteur.

Outstanding Employee Campaign Awards, recognizing outstanding achievements within an employee workplace campaign:

  • Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono;
  • United Parcel Service; and
  • Weiler Abrasives Group.

Outstanding Campaign Champion Awards, recognizing outstanding dedication to the implementation of a workplace campaign: Raffael Lucci and Pamela Watkins, from the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono; Kurt Lupinsky and Donald Zipp III, from Sanofi Pasteur; and Vicky Gill and Cristina Matos, from Weiler Abrasives Group.

Special Recognition Awards, recognizing exceptional in-kind support to United Way’s campaign: Barley Creek Brewing Company; and Kalahari Resorts & Conventions.

Rising Star Award, recognizing outstanding first-time events or campaigns: United Parcel Service – Softball Tournament Fundraiser.

Spirit of Caring Award, recognizing extraordinary dedication to Live United by Giving, Advocating, and Volunteering: John Casella.

Evelyn Frederick Community Service Award, honoring outstanding leadership and commitment to the United Way of Monroe County’s mission, above and beyond the annual campaign: Patricia Sayler.

Clifford R. Gillam Award, recognizing the spirit of outstanding volunteerism to the United Way of Monroe County: Cristina Matos.
