Youth Resort

A mix of adult and youth staff and volunteers, will operate the Youth Resort. MRUs Youth Resort is an interactive Community Drop in Center for Youth 15-23. Its purpose is to help carry out the Vision of Mentor’s R Us, Inc. which is: Inspiration + Employment = Success. All youth 15-23 are open to participate but services will be free for our target population. Youth are inspired by a place that is built just for them and knowing they will have a big impact on its future by helping to select what future hands on projects we work on as a organization. A Youth Council will help select future projects for the Youth Resort participants to work on. Our Life Skills activities like building racing go carts build multiple lessons into each encounter. One-To-One Mentoring Adult volunteer and staff Mentor’s teach life skills to youth (Mentee’s) from challenged backgrounds who drop in to our facility. Ultimately, we are setting the foundation for their vocational gifts to be explored and making plans to set their futures in motion.
