The Special Kids Network

The Special Kids Network offers an information and referral service for services for children between the ages of 0-21 years who have special needs and/or disabilities. The Special Kids Network works closely with Parent to Parent of PA, a network that links families of children and adults with special needs to other families with similar situations. Calls are automatically routed to an information and referral specialist at one the six regional offices in Erie, Pittsburgh, Williamsport, Hershey, WilkesBarre, and Lancaster. Using a computerized resource directory of local and statewide health and social services, specialists are able to provide information, referral, and support to families. The Network’s Community Systems Development (CSD) component works within communities to enhance or create accessible services for children with special needs.
