Summer Academy For Autistic Youth

Easter Seals and Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) have joined hands to offer youth on the autism spectrum and their families a unique summer experience. The Summer Academy for Autistic Youth offers teens social and communication skills while they explore the outdoors. Our staff are well-trained, experienced with ASD, and carefully selected to ensure the utmost in safety, fun and growth for the campers. Individualized learning plans will be incorporated into the curriculum, and TSS workers are welcome. Small group settings will ensure your teen gets the care and attention they need to fully enjoy this outdoor experience. Summer Academy for Autistic Youth is located at the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) in Dingmans Ferry Pa within the boundaries of the Delaware Water Gap National recreation Area, “where learning comes naturally.” Parents provide the transportation to and from the camp.
