Pennsylvania State Resource Family Association (PSFPA)
The PA State Foster Parent Association (PSFPA) is a statewide association dedicated to addressing the needs and concerns of foster parents, foster children and child placement agencies in PA. Funding one of the largest scholarship programs of its kind, the PSFPA provides scholarships to graduating foster children each year. An annual awards program recognizes foster families, agencies and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the foster care program in PA. By providing technical assistance, PSFPA encourages the development of local foster parent associations so that issues relating to foster care can be positively addressed at the local level. PSFPA is working to enhance the image of foster parents in PA and to inform the public about all aspects of foster care. Foster Parent organization provides training and support services, and legislative advocacy.
