Penn State Master Gardener’s Program

The mission of the Master Gardener’s Volunteer Program is to support Penn State Cooperative Extension by utilizing research-based information to educate the public on best practices in consumer horticulture and environmental stewardship.

Master Gardeners are volunteers who successfully complete both an intensive training program and volunteer service.
