Monroe County Transit Authority (MCTA) – Persons With Disabilities (PWD)

Provides rural transportation for disabled individuals, ages 18-64, anywhere in Monroe County and some regions out of county (Seniors age 65 and over can apply for Senior’s Shared Ride Program). If you live or travel within 3/4 of a mile from any MCTA fixed route, you will be required to use our ADA Fixed Route Program. The program can be used for various purposes such as medical appointments, shopping, and employment to name a few. A co-pay applies for all trips. Fees vary depending on zone/mileage from beginning of trip to destination. You must make a reservation for each trip. MCTA will let you know what days of the week they provide service to your area. Reservations must be made by 12 Noon the day before your trip.
