Food Pantry – The Oasis of Love, Inc.

Individuals and families in need of food pantry assistance can be self-referred or referred by another service provider or agency working with them. Individuals and families receiving this assistance will fill out a Declaration of Need form indicating that their income level falls within the stipulated federal guidelines. Individuals and families requesting assistance must provide address, family size and ages of children, if any, for statistical purposes and service needs. Food pantry assistance is provided free of charge based on emergency and need, and can be requested by calling (570) 972-0838 and making an appointment. The Oasis of Love, Inc. will do its best to assist clients who may need additional resources and ongoing food assistance by recommending services and available resources either at The Oasis of Love, Inc. or in the community. In doing so, The Oasis of Love, Inc. reserves the right to further assess and request information that will help The Oasis of Love, Inc. make a determination of additional need and that will further assist clients to improve their presenting problem and crisis. The Oasis of Love, Inc. will not turn away an individual or family who has received food assistance from its food pantry in the past as long as there is a genuine need and the need can be documented.
