Families Helping Families

A community service program that promotes drug and alcohol awareness and educates the public on the disease of alcoholism and drug addiction, and provides a forum for individuals and families who are affected by substance abuse to help and support each other. The program consists of two 45-minute segments. The first involves a presentation by professionals in the the Drug & Alcohol field or persons in recovery to educated attendees about substance abuse and how to keep themselves and their families healthy. The second segment consists of interactive small group discussions facilitated by community members who are well grounded in their own personal recovery program.
