Programs and Services: 1. Place medical and other health care students with local health care professionals. 2. Work to keep local health care professionals connected with knowledge from academic health centers. 3. Help to prepare children and youth (K-12) for careers in health care. 4. Help community projects that address healthcare issues, especially when they can give students good opportunitites for experience. 5. Information on health careers and math/science enrichment. 6. Provide advice to post-high school students seeking careers in health. 7. Place students in community experience in health care. 8. Provide continuing education programs and resources to healthcare professionals. 9. Provide information on a wide variety of health care issues in our region.
